Welcome to my new website for all things Corset related.
This is currently a work in progress so please stay tuned to see the developments I make.
I am planning to include the following on my site:
Corset links - a page with links to various companies who sell corsets. My aim is to list only those which make genuine steel boned corsets. This will also list sites from which you may purchase supplies to try your hand at making your own corsets.
Corset ratings - this will be a page which lists the companies mentioned in the links page, gives a brief description of what each site offers and will give ratings based on such things as quality, price and individuality.
Corset F.A.Q.s - a page answering all those questions you want the answer to but may be too afraid to ask a corsetiere for fear of looking stupid. Fear not! This page will come to your rescue.
Corset Special Offers - a page listing the current special offers available from various corset companies. This will be useful for those of you on a budget.
Corset Reviews - this page will include reviews of specific corset models. I am hoping to get some reviews written by others. If you are interested in contributing, please get in touch and I will send you a copy of my review form for you to fill out. I would like the reviews to follow the same format for ease of comparison.
Corset Books - this page will list various books which are on the subject of corsetry and will give links to where you may purchase them.
Guide to waist-training - This will be a guide to using corsets to train your waist with a moderate reduction. Ideal for helping you tone up after having a baby. This guide will deal with a reduction of 4 to 6 inches on your natural waistline.
Guide to tightlacing - This will be a guide to the practice of tightlacing whereby you wear a corset 23 hours a day, 7 days a week to achieve an extreme reduction and shape. This will deal with reductions of 6 inches and more and also with extreme shapes such as the stem-waist. This is not for the occasional corset wearer and I would highly recommend getting a full physical at your doctors to determine your suitability for wearing such a corset for extended lengths of time.
